Current Research Projects

My current work focuses on professional development for family life educators. I am conducting a qualitative study, Self-Care Experiences of Family Life Educators, which explores how 20 practicing family life educators engage in both personal and professional self-care. This project is being completed in collaboration with Dr. Charlene Harris.

In addition, I am developing a series of professional development videos and interactive simulations designed for students entering the health and human services field. These materials integrate core principles of family life education to help future professionals apply these concepts within their health and human services training.
